Traditional emergency pressure bandages rely primarily on circumferential compression rather than isolating pressure directly over the bleeding vessel. This approach can restrict venous return, compromise distal perfusion, and contribute to unnecessary constriction injuries while failing to deliver adequate pressure to deeper hemorrhage sources.
The HEMGUARD® Targeted Pressure Bandage 4” bridges the gap between conventional bandaging and tourniquet application. Powered by patent-pending P3D™ targeted pressure technology, HemGuard incorporates an elevated riser, rigid textured pressure head, and multidirectional redirection channels that convert wrapping tension into concentrated pressure over the bleeding source.
