The Critical Difference
Trauma patients suffering from severe hemorrhage, water immersion, or cold exposure rapidly lose core thermal energy, triggering severe hypothermia and trauma shock. Traditional passive emergency blankets often fail to generate active warmth and lack the capacity to wrap over casualties wearing heavy cold-weather gear, body armor, or life jackets.
The Blizzard Heat® Trauma Blanket (X-Large) combines active thermal warming with superior 3-layer Reflexcell™ passive insulation. Providing TOG 7 thermal performance, it incorporates large removable core heating pads that deliver direct, therapeutic heat to upper and lower core areas while metalized cellular layers trap warm air and reflect radiant body heat back to the patient.

- Restricted Patient Examination: Full-length resealable closure with front & side access allows medics to inspect wounds without stripping away thermal protection.
- Bulky Outerwear & Life Vests: Extra-Large footprint contains 50% more material to easily wrap over casualties in full combat gear or flotation devices.
- Convective Heat Loss: Fully windproof, waterproof construction with a integrated cord closure prevents warm air from escaping.
